Here’s the first page of PFS, which I wasn’t very happy about:
So yesterday I redrew the whole thing. Removed more than half of the characters, tightened the whole thing up. Started inking it tonight:
Time to make a sandwich, so will finish it and the final missing page…tomorrow maybe. (Photos taken with webcam, so they are kind of awful.)
I finished the main storyline of Dragon Quest IX a week or so ago. I played as myself. Here’s me collecting the final Fygg. I am wearing Enchanted Armor, Vesta Gauntlets, Sturdy Slacks, Dragon Warrior Boots, and a Mighty Armlet.
After finishing that, I was talking to my friend Sam (seen in the post below, looking at his cards) about other DS games. We both decided to buy a new game, one that we could play against each other. I’m playing that game as myself as well. Here’s me as the game begins.
Today I pencilled, inked, scanned and colored 3 pages of this 6 page PFS Prologue I have been working on. I say working on, but really I’ve only finished 2 other pages. And one of those I hate, and will be redrawing. But here are the 4 that are done and I am happy with. 2 more to go, then we jump into the actual story.
The title, “Say you want to revel in loot, son” is one possible way to misunderstand the Beatles lyric “Say you want a revolution”. It’s also the title of the first collection of Invisibles comics. Both of those things are really good. So, I figure this comic can be as good as those things are when/if you misunderstand them.
These pages aren’t necessarily in order, so don’t try and read them as if they were. Just LOOK.

First page of this PFS project. I have about 20 written. I probably won’t post them all here until it’s finished. But I needed at least 1 post this week.
Thought that it might be time to look at some gnomish common folk. Some non-adventurer, non-scholar, regular ol’ people. Maybe he’s a shop keep? Or just your neighbor? I dunno.
This one started as a male Rogue-type character, and then I thought, what if he had a mask used for intimidation? And what if also there was a THING floating over and slightly behind his head, just because my hand realllllly wants to draw that right now?
Female Rogue-type. As in stealing things and being sneaky Rogue-type, not randomly generated maps and monsters that will likely kill you in 2 rounds of combat Rogue-like.
