Read in January
Been keeping track of which comics I read, as I read them. This is a list of issues/books completed in January. This does not include things that I’m not finished reading yet. So no American Elf, Tin Tin, Popeye, or MOME.
Recently Read
Last week I took a trip to Kinokuniya with Brantley. The hope for me was to find some tiny hole-in-the-wall store covered in manga and art books. Instead it was actually the Barnes & Noble of manga and japanese culture. There were so many books there, it was insane. In their puzzle section, I grabbed a copy of More O’Ekaki which is from the actual inventory of the puzzle. That’s pretty cool to me. I’ve looked for O’Ekaki books before in B&N with no real luck.
I didn’t end up buying any manga, but in the sale section, they had copies of Asterios Polyp, so I grabbed that. I really liked it, and look forward to the 2nd and 3rd readings.
I’ve also finished Naoki Urasawa’s Monster, books 11 and 12.
I plan on collecting a list of things as I read them on here, then by the end of the month/year I can have a clear look at how much/what I am reading.
