SVA – Imageless Comic

The assignment here was to do a 10×15 comic featuring no images. Only words, sound effects, borders. And there should be some reason why the panels are blank. So, a snowstorm, being blind, etc. Here’s mine:

It could be called “Know Your Enemy” but since it’s about water, perhaps “H2O Your Enemy”.

This is the way my final actual page looks when scanned. I reversed out the type in photoshop, and think it looks a lot better that way.


Some lettering practice. Bits of phrases and things grabbed from songs playing in the background.


Second bit of practice, which includes a secondary idea. I thought that you could “draw” images with words and word balloons taking the shapes of those things. But it didn’t seem as interesting as just telling a little story.
